- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup water
- pinch of salt
What to Do:
- Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt thoroughly in a pan.
- Stir in 1/2 cup of water until smooth. Set aside.
- In a saucepan, boil remaining 1/2 cup of water. Add vanilla. Add cornstarch sugar mixture, stirring constantly. Cook for 1 minute.
- Remove from fire. Add butter. Serve hot or cold.
